2 weeks ago, I changed my diet and ate a lot of processed food for a week. It made me feel sick and bloated, while nothing was infact wrong with me. Read more about it here. Last week, I decided to turn it all back to the good ‘ol ways and things have looked better since. So how did I do it?
I feel much better and happier whilst having lost some body fat. Infact, I shed exactly the fat I had gained 2 weeks ago. So here are the numbers:
- Total Weight Loss in 1 week: 2.2kgs
- Total Fat Loss in 1 week: 2.3%
Here is my Mood Log for the week:
- Monday — Felt kinda good to get back to old ways again
- Tuesday — Sickness on its way out. Cold had stopped by then
- Wednesday — Almost 90% recovered
- Thursday — Feeling great! Exercising a lot too! Couldn’t be better
- Friday — Good feeling continues
- Saturday — Didn’t do anything at all the whole day. Went out for a really long walk in the evening. Taking it slow.
How Was This Possible?
The Paleo Diet advocates that all your food be fresh and recently cooked. Focus on real-food and not the crap you get in shiny wrappers from the supermarkets or stores. When following the Paleo Diet I have only 2 major rules:
- Don’t have sugar — because we all know sugar is bad for us and HIGHLY addictive.
- Don’t eat anything out of a packet — this automatically negates most of the junk food you eat. Think about it!
