HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY UNDESERVING READERS.

The last few days have been absolutely wonderful! I left to Pune on Saturday morning and reached by 11 and after asking around, I reached the right address. Met wid hu and his fiancé there. There were more people expected but they chickened out for various reasons. Normally I’ve been very apprehensive about outstation vacations wid hu and beau in tow but this time around, I promised to have an optimistic mindset and have a good time while am wid em. I had the choice of going to Goa wid a few Bangalore friends but I decided against it since I’d already told hu I’ll b coming wid him. We stayed in za’s (hu’s fiancé) holiday house and what a place it was! A large quiet colony of small buildings all over the place! Reminded me of my place in Bangalore… Absolutely beautiful… The quiet and calm has to be experienced to be believed! Since i went there with a more positive mindset we all had the time of our lives and I think I jelled better than ever wid za. It’s been a fun few days. From making French fries to clicking snaps wid Santa to watching obscure movies.. We’ve done it all and enjoyed every moment of it! Went to Lonavla and a friend of hu’s joined us there from bombay. He had rented out a full hotel for the New Year bash. So it was there that we danced the night away while battling the horrid mobile network when the time to wish everyone came. The next day, we were awake by 10 and out of the hotel by 12 on the way to Mumbai. A quick stopover at my place on the way allowed us to reach Mumbai by 4… The traffic on the way was terrible.

In hindsight, I think this is the best vacation I’ve had wid hu and za in a very long time! It’s been fun, humorous and I’ve been at my ragging best all thru the trip. I’ll upload snaps in sometime…
